Violin in bloom

This is an old well wore violin my dad gave me about a year ago.
Its not only important to me because he gave it to me, but also because the violin is my favorite instrument aside from the piano.
Its so elegant, graceful, delicate and beautiful!
No instrument pleases me more visually.

And as you may have noticed, I painted cherry blossoms on it!

I wanted to get it repaired, but it would have cost to much, and in the end wouldn't have been playable anyway.

So its purely for decorations sake.

I chose cherry blossoms because I find them to be equally beautiful and delicate.
And I thought the light pink would look nice against the light hazelnut coloured wood.
Was I right?
